Buses & Traffic

Safety of our children is paramount. We ask that parents follow and adhere to the guidance of traffic supervisors outside school, who are assisting students and traffic at the start of the school day. Please refrain from leaving your vehicle unattended on the road, as this can cause potential safety risks to yourself and our children. Our site assistants are on hand to escort your children safely from their vehicles and into school. We also ask that parents and drivers adhere to the UAE Highway Code, ensuring that all passengers are wearing their seatbelts at all times, and young children are not seated in the front of cars. Also, please avoid dropping children on Al Shamikh Street, located at the side of the school, as this road is specifically used for bus parking.

Our school bus transport service is provided by Bright Bus Transport (BBT) which is an approved ADEK bus company and complies with the safety regulations for schools. All buses are fitted with CCTV and have bus monitors to assist children. Each bus is supervised by a School Bus Assistant who is specially trained in the school bus procedures. Furthermore, all buses are also monitored by the Department of Transport through the Salama system. This system monitors the route, timings and attendance of each bus journey.

We expect our pupils to wear seat belts at all times and to follow our School Transportation Terms and Conditions. These buses are fully interactive so parents will know when a child is on the bus, where the bus is during its journey, arrival times at the home and when the child has gotten off the bus at school. This first class service will ensure safety of the students is paramount and the bus service runs smoothly to time.

Bus fees for the full year are AED 4633, this can be paid in three installments of AED 1545, AED 1545 and AED 1543, to the accounts department at school.
